2022 BCSTH Annual Training Forum & AGM

October 18, 2022 - October 21, 2022

Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport & Virtually

Welcome to the 2022 BC Society of Transition Houses Annual Training Forum speaker application! Note: applications are due Friday, July 15, 2022.

The BCSTH Annual Training Forum is host to over 300 anti-violence workers who support women, youth and children in a variety of capacities including Transition, Second and Third Stage Houses, Safe Homes, as well as Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment (PEACE) and Violence is Preventable (VIP) programs, as anti-violence support workers, managers and executive directors.

In a continuation of our ongoing theme of Strength in Solidarity, this year’s Annual Training Forum title is Self Care, Collective Care, and Sustainability. Please join the BCSTH community as we gather in person to learn, share and celebrate together the tremendous heavy-lifting that our sector has accomplished this year and the increasingly critical need for our complex services across BC and Canada. We know that the success and sustainability of our work depends on our wellness through solidarity and connection – not only in self-care but also in collective care. We hope to learn together and find inspiration,  reinvigoration, and reaffirmation of our vital community as we gather together in person for the first time since 2019, and cultivate our ongoing solidarity and resilience in a shared journey to end violence against all women, children, and youth.
