Welcome to the 2023 Appalachian Addiction and Prescription Drug Abuse Conference! We are back at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place on October 5-7 for an in-person conference!
We are proud to share an exciting line-up of topics and dynamic speakers including: Update on West Virginia substance use disorder education and treatment activities, mutual help groups as a resource for families, history of addiction treatment, and Appalachia and methamphetamine. Also, interesting topics of loneliness, loss and love in the work we do, neurobiology of spirituality and specific topics related to gambling, alcohol, and Xylazine and other toxic adulterants, office-based practical toxicology and moral injury, substance use disorder and applying a spiritual anecdote to name a few.
