Call for Proposals

Our 2024 conference welcomes ESS-related panel and presentation proposals for research studies of the environment - both natural and social sciences -as well as presentations related to pedagogy in primary, secondary, and higher education, research methods, and community engagement.  To reflect our commitment to scholar and practitioner development and mentorship, we welcome presentations at all stages, from proposal to implementation to publication. Your voice is an important part of our community — come build on our shared commitment to a just and equitable future and collaborate on our efforts to support healthy environmental systems.

Priority deadline: March 18, 2024. We will continue to evaluate submissions as they come in through March 27th.
Presentations (including lighting talks)
Professional development seminar
Academic/research panel discussion or workshop

Poster presentations may be submitted HERE and will be accepted on a rolling basis.


*We understand that this deadline may present a hardship to some. In order for us to produce a good program and be responsive to those who have already submitted, we need an idea of the number of presentations to expect. If you have at least saved a draft (started a proposal) in the sysbem by COB Mar 18th, that will aid us in this mission. Please reach out to us directly events@aessonline.org if the 18th presents an issue but you wish to participate.
