Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2024 CWA Summit! We are looking forward to bringing a dynamic line-up to the event.  To accomplish this, the CWA is seeking engaging speakers, presenters, and experts to bring fresh perspectives and ideas that help our industry grow. 

If you have an area of expertise and would like to share your knowledge, information, or skills, please submit a proposal today.  Proposals will be reviewed on a rotating basis and once sessions are filled, we will close the call. 

If your session proposal is not accepted for the Summit you may have the option to share your expertise in some of the CWA's other media such as the CWA Newsletter or the CWA Community Hub.

Conference Session Information

Conference sessions will be scheduled between Wednesday, May 15th and Friday, May 17th, 2024. 

Conference sessions should address best practices, especially focused on new, emerging, or innovative topics. 

Format

All session proposals must be educational.  Sales pitches and/or promotion of any product, service, or paid experience will not be considered. The format can be lecture and discussion, roundtable discussion, panel discussion, hands-on workshop, etc. The review committee is specifically seeking sessions that are interactive and engaging to support collaboration and community in the industry.  Please consider how these elements will be present in your proposal.

Audience

When crafting your proposal, consider the needs and interests of the following job functions in the indoor climbing industry:

1. Climbing gym owners
2. Climbing gym corporate management
3. Climbing gym managers
4. Climbing gym program directors/program managers
5. Climbing coaches, trainers and instructors
6. Climbing gym staff
7. Directors of Routesetting and Routesetters
8. Prospective Owners

Other Details

Registration:  Those proposals selected for inclusion will be eligible for a discounted registration.  Details will be included in follow-up communications.

Deadline and Submission Instructions: Proposals may be submitted at any time until sessions are filled, but proposals received by Nov. 1 will stand the best chance at selection.  Selected proposals will be included in newsletters and attendee information on a rolling basis.
