Call for Proposals

The Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC) is seeking Presenters for our Annual Conference on February 28, 29, and March 1, 2024.  The conference will be held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel/DeVos Center in Grand Rapids Michigan.  This is the largest special education conference in the state.  

We are seeking presentations related to Culturally Responsive Teaching, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), Social Emotional Learning, College Students (methods, instructional materials, strategies/techniques), Early Childhood, Specially Designed Instruction - High Leverage Practices (remote, hybrid, in person), Family Inclusion, and Community Partners, Legal/Compliance/Policy (MDE, attorneys, compliance implications), and Poster Sessions.
