Call for Proposal Submissions: 2022 CACUSS Conference
You are invited to submit a proposal to present at the 49TH Annual CACUSS Conference! Our successful 2021 conference brought together over 1800 student affairs professionals from across Canada. The virtual format offers accessibility and affordability for presenters and participants to share best practices, research, procedures and programs related to student learning, success and wellness. We want to take this opportunity to critically reflect on the important conversations that have taken place in the last two years and to add diverse perspectives to help our colleagues think and act.
Presenting at the CACUSS Conference - whether individually or with colleagues - provides a rich opportunity for you to share your knowledge and experience, to gain new insights, and to exchange ideas and information and demonstrate mastery of your digital and technological competencies as a Student Affairs Professional.
As part of our commitment to provide quality content, all sessions must contain future forward conversations about how our work is changing, innovative new ways of working, and how student needs have changed and how we are meeting those needs. How are we addressing inequities and racism on our campuses? Where are there opportunities for Student Affairs professionals to take action and learn given the ongoing complexities of our communities? Presentations must be engaging and interactive, designed to be presented virtually.
*CACUSS will be planning some regional, in-person elements of the conference to be announced in Winter 2022. However all concurrent sessions/presentations will be offered virtually.
ALL SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATIONS MUST:
- Be presented 'live' on their scheduled date and time
- Be accessible, as per 'Minimum Expectations of Conference Presenters'
- Be recorded for future viewing
- Be engaging and contain future forward ideas and thinking
- Feature Student Affairs Professionals who have registered for the CACUSS 2022 Conference
