This year’s Annual Scientific meeting is virtual and with that, there are new opportunities to participate and connect with members of the Medical Physics community. Educational symposia and workshops are an important and engaging component of the COMP Annual Scientific Meeting. The organizing committee would like your input! This year, we are having an open call for continuing education, scientific symposia, and workshops. Additionally, social events are hallmarks of a successful conference and we would appreciate your input in this domain as well! All COMP members are encouraged to submit proposals.

The scope and topic areas covered can be broad and we would like members to consider unique and engaging formats for our all-virtual conference.  Let your experience from the past year and your imagination inspire you!

In addition to core scientific-educational type sessions, possible other themes include:

• Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity
• Action against Racism
• Professionalism
  • Ethics
  • Mentorship
  • Leadership
• Automation in clinical practice
• Clinical application of emerging technology

When suggesting speakers or moderators, please consider inclusion across institutions, diversity, discipline, and career stage.

Please note your proposal demonstrates interest in a topic and possible speakers; it will be reviewed by the ASM organizing committee who will make final suggestions for topic/content inclusion, speakers, and moderators. The committee may also opt to change/add/subtract from your submission. No changes/additions/subtractions will be made without your prior approval.
