  2. Interactive Workshop: provides attendees engaging access to practical CCB promising practices, outcomes data, strategies and tools they can implement immediately at their home institutions. Session features interactive/hands-on discussion/demonstration focused on the specific topic. Worksheets, templates, polling, checklists or other learning tools are strongly suggested for use during interactive workshop sessions.

All conference presentations should be approximately 40 minutes, plus 10 minutes for Q&A and/or audience engagement. Presentations must feature innovative ways community colleges, faculty, and staff have designed and implemented baccalaureate programs, and/or innovative pathways and partnerships that promote local, workforce-ready talent and result in positive social and economic outcomes in their community and beyond.

Selection Criteria

  • Relevance to the theme of the conference: Growing Talent for Local and Global Impact especially for programs, pathways and partnerships that promote local, workforce-ready talent to support positive social and economic outcomes for students, their families, their community and beyond.
  • How the presentation/workshop reflects new ideas, innovations, or important issues that affect community college baccalaureates and /or baccalaureate attainment.
  • Strategies used to engage the audience and allow for audience participation and interaction.
  • Clear proposal description and clarity in purpose and content.
  • Value of the session to the audience, both colleges new to baccalaureates and those that are more mature in the process.
