Welcome to the CARA 2022 National Conference presenter/speaker application portal. Using this online form, please submit your presentation details for our selection committee for review. CARA is seeking speakers with innovative solutions and great stories to share at this year’s National 2022 conference.

2022 National Conference Theme: Facing the future together: Moving Research Administration forward

CARA aims to provide a program balancing the wide variety of learning needs for research administrators/managers across the nation. We welcome proposals for sessions that will help our community intelligently assess their challenges and constraints and take practical steps toward effective solutions. We are also open to proposals presenting solutions and strategies from other sectors that would be equally innovative and of interest for Research Administrators and Managers.

The deadline to submit has been extended to Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, at 11:59 PM PST.

While you complete your application, you will be asked to upload a photo of yourself, a short bio, and information such as a title, and a description. Your application will auto-save, so please feel free to contact us if you face any issues while submitting your information.

Your application will be assessed and rated based on 4 main criteria:
- CARA Strategic Plan
- Relevance/Interest for the Research Administration community
- Organized and Defined
- Opportunity for Delegates Engagement

CARA’s Executive continues to monitor the situation with COVID-19, following the advice of Public Health authorities and their recommended protocols.  All indications support us planning our in-person national conference late next Spring 2022 and we will keep the community updated should Public Health recommendations result in any additional steps or adjustments to our plan.
