Thank you for your interest in NYEC's Action Hour! We seek applications from young adults, age 16-24, particularly those who are current or former opportunity youth. Please submit a proposal for of ongoing or proposed projects that advances your civic engagement, advocacy, business ventures, or projects benefiting your community. 

We will invite a limited number of applicants to present at 2022 All Youth Connecting Forum (June 2-3), with each presenter receiving $500 each. Audience members will vote on awarding an additional $300-500 to presenters. During the Action Hour in June, the Forum’s attendees will give feedback and support to the young adult awardees’ projects. This will be an opportunity for the awardees to propose ways to advance their projects, seek more funding and support for attendees and showcase their talents. The grants allocated to the young adults would help advance their civic engagement, activism, advocacy, community needs, artistry, etc.

You must be willing to present at the Forum and participate in at least one prep session ahead of the convening. In addition to the proposal questions below, feel free to add some color to your proposal by linking a video in the form or tweeting a short video to us at @TheNYEC.
