
Abdulla Alobaidi
MD, Baylor College of Medicine
Abdulla Alobaidi, MD is a third-year resident at Baylor College of Medicine Psychiatry Program. Abdulla was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq and has been a refugee for many years growing up until he moved to the U.S late 2009. Abdulla finished his undergraduate degree with Applied Sociology and pre-medical sciences at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. Then, finished medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. In July of 2020, Abdulla joined Baylor College of Medicine Psychiatry Program. He thoroughly enjoys the field of psychiatry and has always been passionate about mental health. His research is focused on refugees’ mental health and social issues and he has been an advocate for more access to mental health resources to many vulnerable populations including refugees.
