Call for Proposals

2022 CASE Fall Conference

We want YOU to be a part of the CASE conference! 


We invite you to submit a proposal to present a breakout session based on the themes below. The deadline for proposal submissions is April 15, 2022.

Theme:  Facing the Future Together

  • Topics for Proposals:

    Leadership
  • Equity Access and Inclusion
  • Instructional Practices
  • Multi-tiered System of Support
  • Trauma-Informed Practices
  • Efficient and Effective Budget Management
  • Social-Emotional Learning for Staff and/or Students
  • Mental Health & Behavioral Health
  • IDEA Implementation Requirements 
  • Emerging Legal Issues
  • Attract, Prepare and Retain (Addressing Staff Shortage)

Selection Criteria for Proposals:

  • The presentation proposal is clearly aligned with a strand.
  • The learner objectives are clearly aligned with the session description.
  • Usefulness to Practitioners (How will this information improve practice?)
  • Overall breadth/variation of topics across the conference
  • Overall Quality of the Proposal

Please note: we will not be accepting proposals from companies providing educational services or products as part of our call for proposals. We encourage all companies to take advantage of networking opportunities with participants through exhibiting and the sponsor activities.  NEW opportunities for sponsor sessions will be available to 2022 Conference Sponsors.  

Submissions must include:

  • Title (Conference Theme is “Facing the Future Together”)
  • Lead Presenter bio 
  • List of co-presenters (bios can be added after you submit)
  • Session Description
  • 1-3 Learner Objectives
  • Experience as a presenter (provide a list of past presentations and audience)
  • Days you cannot present
  • Optional: You will have the option to submit supporting documentation to strengthen your submission.

Please keep in mind:

  • We are currently planning for the conference to be in person. 
  • We anticipate breakout sessions to be one hour in length.  
  • All accepted presenters and co-presenters must register for the conference before the end of the early-bird registration, which runs through July 31, 2022. Failure to register will result in the cancellation of your session. 
  • All presenters and co-presenters must pay the early-bird conference rate. 
  • Conference fee cancellation policy: Written requests for refunds, minus 25% administrative costs, will be honored if postmarked no later than September 30, 2022. Refunds will be mailed after the conference. 
  • Presenters are responsible for bringing your own laptop and adapters needed to connect to LCD projectors.
  • Presenters are responsible for providing speakers for your laptop if you need sound.
  • Important Deadlines:
  1. April 15, 2022 - CASE proposal submission ends.
  2. May 8, 2022 - Notification of proposal acceptance on or before this date.
  3. July 31, 2022 - Presenters & co-presenters must register for the conference by the end of the early-bird registration on this date. 
  4. September 30, 2022 No conference registration refunds after this date, however attendee substitutions can be made.
