SUBMISSION DETAILS 

Sessions at the 2022 CACEE National Conference will be a blend of curated and open-call content. Our 2022 call for proposals opens Monday, April 11, 2022, and will close on  Friday, May 13, 2022.

Your submission will need to be scalable to one of the following formats: 

• Educational Session (30 - 45 minutes) – a dynamic session that provides a practical and intensive knowledge-building experience from subject matter experts. These sessions will require presenters to present live and leave time for a live question and answer portion. 
• Pre-Recorded Educational Session (30 - 45 minutes) – dynamic pre-recorded session that provides a practical and intensive knowledge-building experience from subject matter experts. These sessions will require presenters to support chat Q&A within the Pheedloop platform during the session air date and time
• Poster Session – an engaging display that combines copy, graphics, and thought-provoking ideas. These will be displayed within a tab of the Virtual Conference Platform.

Your proposal should include the following: 

• 150 - 300 word description of your session; this will be used as the basis for the conference program – so make it catchy and build a connection with our audience! 
• 2 – 3 bullet points outlining learning outcomes or key takeaways - What will participants experience? What will they come away with? How might they apply what they have learned in their day-to-day work? 
• Connection to and explanation of how your session will nurture one (or more) of the CACEE Competencies. 
• Brief biography (75 – 100 words) and a high resolution .jpeg or .png headshot of each presenter. 

CACEE accepts session proposals in both French and English 
Les sessions peuvent se dérouler en français ou en anglais. L'ACSEE accepte les propositions de sessions en français et en anglais. 

The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, May 13, 2022. Once received, your proposal will be reviewed by the CACEE National Conference Program Committee and you will be notified if your proposal has been selected by Friday, July 1, 2022.  

Please note: Proposals are voluntary and as such CACEE will not be offering compensation to proposal speakers. This is anticipated to be a highly competitive process, so please put your best foot forward, adhere to the submission guidelines, and ensure your proposal is in before the deadline. Should your proposal be selected, you will be expected to be available to answer questions during your scheduled presentation. All accepted proposals will receive one (1) complimentary registration.  

Important: Those interested in presenting as a showcase exhibitor (where the intent of the presentation is to sell a commercial product or service) must submit through the sponsor and exhibitor opportunities page. 

Review of Important Dates:

• Proposal Submission Deadline:  Friday, May 13, 2022
• Notification of accepted proposals: Friday, July 1, 2022
• Deadline for final content submission (e.g. slide deck, poster, etc.): Friday, October 22, 2022
