2023 Public Health Conference of Iowa

March 27, 2023 - March 29, 2023

Scheman Building, Iowa State University, Ames

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the
2023 Public Health Conference of Iowa, March 28-29, 2023!

This year's theme is Evolving Public Health: Learning Today to Transform Tomorrow. The conference will be an excellent opportunity to help do just that while sharing your work with hundreds of public health professionals and connecting with colleagues old and new.

The deadline for submission has been extended to Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:59 pm.  You will receive an automatic confirmation email, indicating receipt of the online submission. Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the PHCI planning committee.  You will be notified of acceptance by December 31, 2022.

Professionals and students are encouraged to submit abstracts focused on current and emerging public health issues.  Innovative programs that reach beyond traditional health and environmental circles to collaborate with other disciplines are also welcomed. Relevance to the annual theme is recommended, but is not required.

As you move through the submission form, please note the following:
  • You must provide a brief description of the presentation.  This description will be used on the website and in promotional materials.
  • You must provide a minimum of three measurable learning objectives.  Please use this format:  "At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to..."  Click here to review a list of words to help draft objectives.
Any proposals submitted without a description and/or learning objectives will not be considered.

If you have questions about the form or process, please contact Stacey Nay via email at stacey.nay@assoc-mgmt.com.

Thank you again for your interest in presenting at the 2023 Public Health Conference of Iowa!
