The joint NEWEA/NEBRA conference and exhibit is a great forum to learn the latest trends in the management of biosolids and residuals, and it is a “must” for all those involved in the challenge of managing these materials in the Northeast.  As part of our ongoing effort to manage the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to make this year’s  conference a hybrid event with  a series of on-line webinars packed with the same high-quality content and networking you would expect from the live conference, as well as a tradition option for in-person sessions and networking.  

Abstracts are currently being accepted in the following five topics:

• COVID-19 Residuals Management Impacts
• PFAS Research and Impacts to Residuals programs
• Residuals Master Planning and Co-digestion
• Odor and Impacts on End Use
• Emerging trends and technologies for sludge handling and management
