From November 2-4, 2022, the Annual FBS Conference returns to an in person format in Ottawa, the national Capital region!

The annual conference represents a terrific training and knowledge sharing opportunity. It brings together labour relations professionals of all levels from Canadian universities to better equip them in matters related to academic collective bargaining and contract administration. Members enjoy ample networking opportunities and sector-specific content to enhance their skills as workplace managers and university negotiators.

This year’s agenda includes the popular panel of legal experts’ review of key case law developments along with many other timely sessions.There are also multiple social and networking opportunities where attendees can connect with friends and colleagues while they enjoy tasty bites.

Provosts’ Summit

On November 2, we are proud to invite Canada’s provosts to a new summit, devoted to creating a fresh twenty-first century vision for academic labour relations. In one expertly facilitated intensive and fully participatory day, a group of provosts and high-level colleagues will collaboratively and interactively explore innovative ways to rethink, rebuild, and rewrite conventional thinking on academic labour relations.
