The 36th annual Society for Magnetic Resonance Angiography International Meeting will be held in Santiago, Chile from Tuesday, November 12th to Friday, November 15th, 2024. The theme of this year is "The ever-changing landscape of MRA".
The 2024 conference will feature sessions on the continued explosion of new MRA techniques and contrast media and their relevant impact on patient management. The SMRA International Conference continues to showcase cutting-edge MRA research and stimulate rapid clinical translation including in the fields of advanced MRA techniques in the brain, heart, abdomen, and extremities; 4d flow imaging; contrast agents; vessel wall and thrombus imaging; interventional MRI; deep learning and clinical study design.
We will continue with last year’s conference format featuring the educational component blended into the main plenary sessions. This ensures value for seasoned delegates and those "newcomers" to the field.
Scientific Abstracts and Educational Exhibits are welcome as submissions for inclusion in the abstract book.
We also are including a Mentor/Mentee submission format to highlight successful mentor/mentee relationships. Submit a short 100-400 word description of your topic if you and your mentor are interested in presenting either a/an
- mock thesis/viva defense (technical/basic science) or
- unknown clinical case presentation (clinical)
Mentor/mentee submissions will be used to select presenters and will not be included in the abstract book.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts should be submitted as a SEARCHABLE PDF (e.g., directly export your abstract as a PDF from Microsoft Word)
Abstracts must be only one page in length (A4 or 8.5x11 in.), including all graphics
Abstracts must be in portrait mode
Use a line spacing of 1 or greater with at least 0.5 in. margins all around
Use Arial or Helvetica font with size 10–12pt
The title should be at least 12pt, bold, and center justified
Author(s) and institution(s) should be listed below the title, center justified. The presenter should be underlined.
Use the format: Purpose, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References, as closely as appropriate.

Only an online submission via PheedLoop will be accepted. Abstracts submitted via email or fax will not be accepted.
