Susan has been strengthening nonprofits for over 40 years, as a board member, development director, executive director and consultant to thousands of nonprofits across the continent, including many in California, and many orchestras. She's been lead faculty in a year-long fundraising program at the University of Washington for 30 years, and has authored two award-winning books: Boards on Fire and Getting Funded. She speaks, trains and consults nationally, known for offering simple solutions to complex problems, delivered with stories, interaction, humor and chocolate.
