Call for Proposals

CITE 2021 Virtual Annual Conference

June 8, 2021 - June 10, 2021

CITE invites all interested transportation professionals and students to share your ideas at the 2021 CITE Annual Conference, which will take place virtually on June 8, 9, and 10, 2021.

Topics

Submissions are welcome on any topic that demonstrates something new, novel, or noteworthy in the world of transportation. Ideas for presentations include:

  • Active transportation facility design and implementation
  • Connected and automated vehicles
  • Equity, transportation accessibility, and community building
  • Goods movement 
  • Integration of mobility services and technology
  • Managing traffic and transportation during major events, construction, and disasters
  • Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)
  • Public transportation innovations
  • Road safety
  • Transportation challenges and opportunities during a pandemic

Other topics are also welcome, and we encourage you to think about any exciting project or research undertaking you have on the go or have recently completed when you prepare your abstract. 

Submission Instructions

Abstract length: 500 – 550 words

Your abstract should address the following:

  1. Title of your presentation
  2. Background and objectives of the project on which you are presenting
  3. Key findings, lessons learned, challenges
Please note that by submitting an abstract you automatically agree to a copyright release should your abstract be accepted. You retain ownership of your materials but allow us to broadcast and reuse. For full details, check our copyright release for CITE 2021.

Presenters, once accepted, are required to register as a delegate to CITE 2021.

Important Dates

Abstract submissions due: December 16, 2020
Tentative Abstract Approvals: February 5, 2021 (Now expected end of February)
Final presentation submission due (if your abstract is accepted): April 19, 2021
CITE Virtual Annual Conference: June 8-10, 2021
