BCTEAL and the Faculty of Forestry, UBC invite you to submit a proposal for the BCTEAL 2023 Conference on May 5 & 6. The program selection committee welcomes session proposals from both novice and experienced presenters. Share your high-impact strategies, current research, and innovative ideas with English as an Additional Language (EAL) educators from across BC. Please consider the conference theme “Connecting through Land and Language: Reconciliation, Reflection, Innovation, Transformation”, as submissions related to the theme will be prioritized.

Key Dates

• EXTENDED to Monday, February 20, 2023: Deadline to submit session proposals
• February-March 2023: Review of session proposals & responses
• April 7, 2023: Deadline for presenters to confirm participation and register
• April 2023: Preliminary conference program online
