The Loft’s second annual Wordplay will take place May 9, 2020 and aims to be Minnesota’s largest celebration of readers, writers, and great books. We want to make sure you get to be a part of it. Get your business or organization in front of book lovers, families, and community members by purchasing a spot in our exhibitor fair.
Due to limited space, we are accepting applications for our exhibitor slots. Applications close December 31, 2019. We will notify exhibitors in late January 2020, and will take payment to secure spot at that time.
For every vendor type, the following applies.
- A 10'x9' Tent in exhibitor area
-Table and two chairs
-Listing in printed exhibitor map
- Exhibitor listing on Wordplay app, including a digital map
-Two Wordplay passes
- Additional marketing opportunities may be available for purchase
- Exhibitor fee
- Your own liability insurance as needed
- ST-19 Tax form (submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org)
-Signage and table coverings
$500 - Exhibitor: Includes colleges, universities, small businesses, nonprofits (annual budgets greater than $2 million)
$250 - Nonprofit (annual budgets under $2 million)/Independent Artist or Author
Note: Authors featured in the Wordplay schedule line-up cannot be an exhibitor; you can apply for both, but if you are chosen to be in the line-up, then your exhibitor application will not be considered.
If these prices are a beyond the capacity of your organization, please let us know in your application. We have a limited number of reduced/comped exhibitor spaces.
We will be prioritizing exhibitor applications that clearly demonstrate the following: audience engagement, celebrating stories, community connections, local businesses/organizations.
Publishers/authors: you may not sell featured books on the Wordplay official schedule/line-up at your table. Featured books will only be sold by the featured booksellers.
