Indoor Air 2024

July 7, 2024 - July 11, 2024

1801 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States

We are pleased to announce a Meet the Job Seekers Poster Session for INDOOR AIR 2024 (https://indoorair2024.org/), the 18th edition of the flagship conference of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ). This will be a session where job candidates interested in entering the job market within 1-2 years can present a poster about themselves, their skills, and their career goals to speak with prospective employers both within and outside academia.

This is the abstract submission form for the 18th edition of the flagship conference of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ).  This form can be used for proposed presentations for Job Candidate Poster Session.  Applications are due May 17, 2024.

On the next screen for "Track," please select "Job Candidate Poster Session" and either In-Person or Remote Track as appropriate.

This abstract should be about you!  For the title enter "First_Name Last_Name Job Candidate Poster Session."  For the abstract, enter text about your current skills, your future career interests, or anything else you want prospective employers to know.

You can participate either in-person or via Remote Track.  The in-person session will occur during the poster session on Tuesday afternoon.  If you already have a poster in the Tuesday afternoon session, we will automatically move it to Monday (but please email us at indoorair2024@gmail.com if we miss on).  Poster formats for both in-person and online will be the same as regular poster requirements (here: https://site.pheedloop.com/event/iai2024/session-types), but this poster will be about you.  If you participate in-person, you can also post your poster online.

Potential information to include in the Job Seekers Poster:

  • Type of job seeking (postdoc, faculty positions, industry, government)
  • Employment information (anticipated availability, preferred location, in-person/remote)
  • Education background (degree, dates completed or estimated, courses/training relevant to IAQ)
  • Previous employment history
  • Examples of past and current research
  • List of publications and presentations
  • Electronic link and/or hard copy of resume or Curriculum Vitae

Applying for this session will not impact your other submissions. (We are looking to maximize the number of voices presenting at the conference. In most cases we will accept a maximum of 2 presentations of other types per attendee as the primary presenter, although the number of submissions is not limited and additional presentations will be considered as space allows.  The "Job Candidate Poster Session" submissions will NOT impact your other presentations.)

Can’t wait for the conference? Engage now through our Indoor Air Conference Countdown Challenge! Submit an image to have your research highlighted and/or compete now to win an action waterproof camera: https://indoorair2024.org/play-game/
