44th Forum for Behavioral Science in Family Medicine

September 6 - September 9, 2023

The Pfister Hotel, 424 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

2023 Theme: Building Bridges and Cultivating Change

The nature of news, social media and politics have led to increasingly divided communities.  Curated information, black-and-white portrayals of others, and bias have created challenging chasms in our communities. We saw how these impacted responses to the pandemic.  These same factors influence efforts to combat racism, address inequity, improve conditions for LGBTQ+ patients, and improve vaccination rates.  The planning committee is interested in offering at least 40% of the content around connecting with our communities and patients, improving communication, and building bridges.
