The following Terms and Conditions apply to all sponsors at all levels. To participate as a SPONSOR at the 2023 Fall Conference, you are required to:
- Be a current member (2023 paid dues) of MISA BC
- Complete a Sponsor Application on Pheedloop.com
- Sign a Sponsor Agreement
- Sign a Speaker Agreement (Premier, Platinum, and Gold Sponsors)
- Adhere to the MISA BC Privacy Policy
- MISA BC does not provide conference attendee lists or the contact information of conference attendees to Sponsors or Exhibitors.
- MISA BC does provide Speaking Session attendee information for those that have opted into sharing their contact information.
- Associate Partners are not permitted to advertise, market, or use promotional material outside of designated Sponsorship items or Exhibit Spaces.
- Adhere to the MISA BC Code of Conduct
- Purchase sponsorship with an accepted form of payment (credit card, cheque, e-transfer, or direct deposit) within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
The following terms and conditions apply to all Speaking Sessions (Premier, Platinum, Gold). To participate in a Speaking Session at the 2023 Fall Conference, you are required to follow the rules for all sponsorship levels, plus:
- Complete a Speaker Application on Pheedloop.com
- Sign a Speaker Agreement
- Participate on the designated date and at the designated time as determined by the MISA BC Conference Committee.
- Secure an approved speaking partner
- Partnering speakers must be secured by the Associate Partner, however, assistance and support is available from the MISA BC Conference Committee.
- Where an appropriate local government or otherwise approved partner is unavailable, MISA BC Board members may represent as a speaking partner or help secure another partner from their municipal network.
- Approved speaking partners may include but are not limited to government affiliated organizations (libraries, RCMP,museums, provincial government, federal government, any level of government from other countries),captivating/motivating professional speakers (futurists, Indigenous speakers, leadership training, motivational speakers)
- Approved Speaking Partners with another organization may deliver a topic with you or on your behalf
- Select an approved session topic and format which may include but are not limited to:
- Topics outside of your organization's products/services; for example, emotional intelligence, leadership, project management, etc.
- Formats including presentations, demonstrations, fireside chats, panels, Q&A interviews, etc.
- Brand your Speaking Session including all approved Speaking Partners with one image/logo for the purposes of promotion, on the event websites, and in digital communications.
Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions listed above will result in the forfeit of the Speaking Session opportunity without refund.
The following terms and conditions apply to all Exhibit Spaces. To participate in the Exhibit Hall you are required to follow the rules for all sponsorship levels, plus:
PREMIER and PLATINUM SPONSORS
- Select your 8'x10' Exhibit Space from the reserved section of prime Exhibit Space locations.
GOLD and BRONZE SPONSORS
- Adhere to the First come, first serve process
- Select your 8'x10' Exhibit Space from the main pool of Exhibit Space locations.
Sharing your Exhibit Space with another organization
- You may have one other company join you in your booth - there's a $500 fee for this and they must also be a MISA BC member and purchase a delegate pass. For website and Pheedloop branding both logos may be represented by one image and a shared exhibitor listing.
- 1 Additional Organization' add-on must be purchased to share your Exhibit Space
- When one Additional Organization is purchased, both organizations may co-brand the in person Exhibit Space
- All exhibitors MUST BE members of MISA BC in good standing with paid memberships
Note: Booths will be clearly defined by your company branding. This may not include specific products, services, programs, etc. Example: MISA BC (company branding) vs. MISA BC Conference (product of the company).
The following Terms and Conditions apply to Membership. Participating in the conference, in any capacity requires that you must be a member of MISA BC (or in the National Partner Program with MISA Canada).
MISA BC does not permit sister and/or parent companies to join under one membership when the additional company is a wholly owned, independent subsidiary of the parent company. Any individual company that has any one of the attributes listed below, separate from the parent company, will be required to possess individual memberships:
- Company email domain
- Company name
- Brand logo
- Maintain separate P&L and financial documentation
- Operate under distinct executive leadership teams
